• We will begin our day with a hike viewing cascading waterfalls, serene alpine meadows, and quiet forest glens, these are just a few of the treasured places reached only on foot. Along the way our naturalist/guide will provide knowledge and perspective on the region's natural and cultural history, and will share his or her favorite local stories. We could possibly find ourselves hiking high above a serene glacier-fed lake, or along a rushing mountain streams. Not to mention there are many opportunities for photography along the trail so I can use that fancy camera Josh got me for my birthday last year.
